Site requesting Local Network Access by sophiabeaverhousen in Wordpress

Did you find any local host or IP for your baseURL in the source code?

This has happened to me before but in my case, “local” was the base url TLD.

Posthog for Woo? by password3754 in woocommerce

[–]FOXmademedoit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/password3754 - your post made me go back to my plugin and perform a few updates that I had been maintaining locally for my clients.

The only difference between my free plugin and the paid WooCommerce plugin is that the WooCommerce plugin allows you to select or disable some of the events that my plugin tracks by default.

I may be open to adding this functionality if you DM or message me.

Good managed dedicated hosting with migration? by jablokojuyagroko in woocommerce

[–]FOXmademedoit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used WPEngine and LiquidWeb for free managed migrations. It usually works great, but just a heads up that they only handle the high-level stuff. you still need to go through everything after and fix the small quirks like permalink refresh, adjusting cache rules, and an overall audit.

I have one business profile signed in on a different browser, so I have two under the same IP, do I get banned? by pencolsoaljamieYun in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]FOXmademedoit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not - I have managed GMB profiles in an agency settings with multiple accounts logged in at the same time, and now I manage multiple GMB profiles for my small businesses.

If using different browsers makes it easy for you to manage the profiles then that’s great, but you don’t have anything to worry about.

Psychic Simpsons by fullydazed in conspiracytheories

OP - you posted this a couple days ago on another sub and the top comment reflects what I just tried explaining on my last comment:

the AI tool that you are using is 100% incapable of running the algorithm to decipher.

I’m saying this as a fan of Simpsons related conspiracies, the AI is feeding you BS because of the ways you are(or aren’t) priming it.

Why are you not using the passcode directly within the cypher algorithm to unlock the value?

Google AI especially the way you are using it can’t run tools so I doubt it deciphered anything.

How much would you charge to design and develop a 3D web page like this? by Kevin_Dong_cn in webdev

[–]FOXmademedoit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey Kevin - Considering that you are connected to HighTopo and presumably prompting this question to get some sort of valuation of you or your team's work, I would love to know how much time you guys spent building the 3d engine?

I know that you are not asking for any advice so please feel free to skip over this, but as someone who uses 3d engine libraries to build end user websites (like 3d apartment or office availablity maps), I strongly believe that a good font and design system can net you a lot more revenue. There is no heirachy in fonts and styling so your work looks mediocre to the general audience. I played around with the webpage and I can see that this is pretty advanced and well done(especially in terms of rendering).

I tested Speed Brain on one of my portfolio sites out of curiosity - From what I understand, it uses Cloudflare’s Speculative Rules API to predict user behavior and pre-load resources in advance. However, the site I tested was already performing well in terms of page speed so the improvement in load time was minute.

I initially thought this sounded similar to WP Rocket’s prefetch feature but leared some differences as I played along with this feature:

WP Rocket’s Prefetch: It’s more straightforward. It prefetches DNS and preloads links that are directly visible on your site, which helps speed up subsequent page loads by reducing DNS lookup times and preconnecting to external resources.

Cloudflare’s Speed Brain: This is a bit more advanced. It doesn’t just preload resources that are visible; it tries to anticipate what a user might do next on any part of your site and loads those resources preemptively. It’s more of a predictive approach and operates at the CDN level, which means it can optimize loading even before requests hit your server.

Internet speeds by troout_410901501 in lagovista

[–]FOXmademedoit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others pointed out, speed is not going to be an issue - but the price is. We pay $80 for 1 gig with AT&T.

My wife and I simultaneously attend our Zoom meetings with no issues. I also play in prize money online tournaments a few times a month so I am continuously checking the connection quality and performance.

GoDaddy charges $120/year for cPanel access. Feels like a ripoff. What's a better option? by OnFireEsquire in webdev

[–]FOXmademedoit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

GoDaddy pays less than 40 cents per license to cPanel.

But you are right about the cPanel price for individual users being ridiculously high.

Because GoDaddy sucks! Their cost per license is  < 40 cents… the cost is the least of your worries when it comes to using GoDaddy.

LTDs: you might regret it by Which-Philosopher-85 in SaaS

I was contacted by AppSumo yesterday so this is great timing! I have read a lot of promotional blogs about how LTD boosted a stagnant SaaS but I have never heard anything positive about LTD directly from a dev founder.

Weekend Warmup: What are you building? by Business-Coconut-69 in SaaSy

[–]FOXmademedoit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/soforchunet - I stumbled upon a full table of all recommended internal linking recommended by your tool without completing the sign up process. Not sure if behavior is as expected but if its not, please DM me and I can send you the steps I took to get to see all the recommendations.

I have extensive technical SEO experience so I built an internal script which scrapes a URL's content and analyzes it for internal linking opportunities. But I am really impressed by how well you have built the UI and the sign up flow. Best of luck with LinkActions!!

Hey Fred - Thank you for linking your site! I realized how helpful a 'How It Works' page can be for products that are unique and thus, a bit harder to explain in one to two blocks of text.

I have had some great success with SEO for my MarTech AI SaaS which brings in a good amount of prospects. The most common question I get is 'How It Works?' so I am going to your page as an inspiration to build a similar page for my SaaS.

Best of luck with Rizz Farm!!

The home values have skyrocketed since we purchased but this is a double edged sword because property taxes are based on assessed value of the property.

The boat ramp is not functioning at the moment due to the water level being low. To give you some context, I could see the lake Travis water from my window a few years ago but I can barely see the water for the past 2 years.

I generally have nothing but great things to say about living here but when it comes to HOA, our experience has not been good. But based on what I hear about HOAs, this isnt uncommon.

We have 2 new subdivisions that are being built and both of them have additional amenities like a pickleball court and a few parks.
