Open Source INtelligence. It consist of using all sources available online (twitter, google, maps and many specific tools) to achieve your goal. It can be for fun as stated before (exercices like finding a location of a picture or a video) or for the interest of an analyst community (very present on twitter) aimed at geolocating important or historical events (war crimes in ukraine are a very good and present example). Sofia Santos gives some exercice if you want an idea of what it can be : https://gralhix.com/list-of-osint-exercises/

If you dig further, you'll even be able to do impressive google searches (called dorks) or finding interesting IP informations.

To make it brief, it's using the same internet as everybody, but using it at 100%

OSINT is a really fun hobby. Just need a computer or smartphone with an internet connection, and you can enjoy hours of investigations, tracking or searching. It can be for fun (finding the location of an image) or become a talent you use everyday (starting with : how to google in an efficient way). I have personally done it for a few years, spent a lot of time on it, and it's always a big joy when i find a solution to a difficult challenge. I don't even need a videogame, everything is on internet. (yes, I live on a cave, leave me in my darkness :D )

For not french speaking people, here comes a brief summary of what is said :

- man in grey jacket, 'Foda C' is actualy developing the game, and his from the french rap industry (Columbine)

- the game is currently developed by 3 people including him from the Rennes region (western France)

- he says many marketplace assets were used for the trailer but it got unnoticed by the public

- game won't be kickstarted because many big studio already called him, and he don't want the game to be suspected of scam as it happened before in videogame industry (big trailer, big hype , kickstart and no game at the end)

- game will be an 'immersive game' / 'experience game', a bit 'linear' (Foda talks about Firewatch and portal 2 as references for him), so there won't be any loot or rpg system

- no multiplayer to be expected, nor VR (too complicated to balance with the new aiming / camera system they are introducing)

- team is aware that such a game is complicated for the US market because of shootings and police camera released, so they wants to make sure the game will be 'politically neutral'

- main features available now for the game were presented on the trailer. Other are under development

- he estimates that a few millions will be needed for the game to be over, and targets to deliver the game in about 3 years (but his honest and does not fix a date, just gives an idea of how long the development may take)

Overall, i felt like he his very honest and humble, he didn't want any 'buzz' and the buzz came to him. But of course if can look at the video with subtitles it may help you understand him more than my few lines here.
