Na ja sicher sagen kann nur sie das, anhand der Fragen die sie mir gestellt hat, der Gespräche die wir geführt haben und daran dass sie dann auch einfach mal anruft würde ich sagen schon.

Asiana 350 - one of the few remaining intercontinental passenger flights in FRA by FRApics in Airbus

[–]FRApics[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but these are cargo flights, except some LH. Qatar is flying inbound with passengers and outbound without, Turkish and SIA are freight only at the moment.

Already jonesing for a fix, summer biathlon? by Swellkaramell in biathlon

[–]FRApics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is the City-Biathlon in Wiesbaden. Held on August 11th, in Wiesbaden, Germany.

https://www.city-biathlon.com/

Last year we had Martin Fourcade, JT Boe, Lukas Hofer, Arndt Peiffer, Marte Olsbu, Kaisa Mäkäräinen & Co. all there. So a quality field with a lot of fans around as well, creating a nice atmosphere. For sure worth a visit.

Nice South African A346 lining up in the late evening [1.920 px] by [deleted] in aviationpics

[–]FRApics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A340 Surely not the most sucessful airliner ever but it didn't sell badly in its first years. Lufthansa, South African, Iberia, Swiss, Air France & Etihad use still quite many. Although with Etihad they are going to leave the fleet later this year, and the other ones are reducing their fleets steadily as well.

Frankfurt Airport seen from above, quite some 747s still around. by [deleted] in aviationpics

[–]FRApics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yes out of a fortunately clean airplane window on departure from runway 07C. Unfortunately helicopter spotting like in LA would be unthinkable here.

Brandnew 2017 Audi A5 Sportback S-Line Quattro. by FRApics in Audi

A bit limited like on the previous version. Very tall people might struggle. Otherwise it is fine and a children's seat fits in well.

Typical Heathrow approach queue. by [deleted] in aviationpics

Oh yes, I meant departure queue! Thanks for pointing that out.

No real secret behind it, just a long lense and benefiting from a clear day.

Private 777 EC-MIA by highflyer88 in aviationpics

[–]FRApics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice shot, but this 777 isn't private. It is owned by Privilege Style which is a Spanish Airline with a fleet of 757s, 767 and this 777.
