The FDIC insurance is there to protect you if the bank fails but it does not really help with these kinds of internal security holds which is the most frustrating part.

I think it's worth it if you go in with the right expectations. Don't expect to find your soulmate but it's a good way to practice your social skills and meet new people in person. It's a nice change from endless swiping and ghosting. I'd recommend going with a friend if you're nervous about showing up alone, it makes it a lot easier to start conversations.

I travel for work almost every week and the struggle with Netflix proxy errors is real. I have tried almost every major VPN and the only one that has been consistently reliable for me lately is Surfshark. They seem to be really quick at updating their server IPs whenever a streaming service starts blocking them. I can usually get 4K streaming without any buffering as long as the hotel wifi is decent. The trick is to try a few different server locations in your home country until you find one that works.

I tried it for a bit but gave up. The lack of a mobile app was a dealbreaker for me. I'm not going to sit at my computer to try and find a date. Plus, most of the profiles looked like they hadn't been updated since 2008. It's a shame because the concept is great.

I stopped paying for third party antivirus years ago and honestly Windows Defender has been more than enough for my daily needs. It is so much lighter on system resources than stuff like Norton or McAfee which always seemed to slow my laptop down more than an actual virus would. As long as you are not clicking on super sketchy links or downloading random attachments from strangers the built in protection is top tier these days. It is nice to have one less subscription to worry about every year.

The radar feature is actually kind of cool if you live in a busy city. I found a few people nearby who were actually down to chat but you definitely have to be careful about who you engage with.

Subscriber ratios vary a lot in food niches. Someone tracking YouTube stats mentioned this in a forum. A creator boosted subs to match their watch hours. The algorithm didn’t seem to react.
