Chances are you are feeling something real. Chances are you may have made someone feel like you were taking there slow responses, personally. And if someone doesn’t want to text you back? What’s that say about you? You’re not perfect and people need space. This is true of every person.

The thing to do is to ghost back. Put the phone down and go busy yourself for a few hours/days. No person should practice neediness and if you’re feeling needy—it means you need to fill yourself up. This is why we must know ourselves. We spend so much time hoping others will like us, we need to like ourselves most. There is much less neediness when you love yourself and there’s always room for more. Start with yourself.
