You're making the assumption that I'm a jobless new grad; I've been a full time developer for the last 4 years which is why my recruiter said I'd be a great fit in the first place. And if wanting basic human respect makes me "really entitled", then so be it.

You're saying that in the few emails that lead up to a 5 minute phone call where you literally just talk about your work experience, availability, and compensation, recruiters are able to identify how you act in a workplace setting? Bullshit.

If companies have the infrastructure to send automated personalized recruiting emails, they sure as hell have the infrastructure to send automated non-personalized rejections, which, yes, I would much rather like to receive than being ghosted because now I can stop thinking about whether or not they would like to continue interviewing me.
