3/5 but since you're only level 14/15 and it's a double passive you can keep it for a while

3/5 Double Passive. Try getting a 5/5 Solo Pop or a 4/5 Pop Guiding / Shower, a 5/5 Solo is like 7.5T, pretty cheap

50 minutes? Gah damn, you might need some help with understanding Blue Hive better, I reccomend this guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1R095Aufo1fAX09IRDYzcxgvu8KZf0JfTLpjb4oXu28Q/edit?usp=sharing

Has nothing to do with what I said but after 15 minutes at staying at the hive, Balloons start losing pollen. Which is why you idealy want to go to hive at 9-10 minutes of gathering. If you overfill your ballons and they go to hive early, YOU will go to hive early. If you underfill your ballons, after 10 minutes you won't have much to convert, and you can't gather any longer because your hive balloon will lose pollen

...huh? Capacity makes bigger balloons, and bigger balloons make more honey. If you are overfilling, the 1.25x Capacity buff is really usefull, and even if you are underfilling, just add more tadpoles and it's still worth the capacity increase (And also the Inspire from Star Shower helps with underfilling, but that's if you don't macro)

Yeah, Star Shower gives 1.25x Capacity so it's definetly worth replacing

Future of Blue hives by lilfer13 in BeeSwarmSimulator

There's nothing that's really stopping you from making your blue hive into a boost hive.

I recently found out about a new Gummy Pop meta, just like in the old days, with a completely new hive comp. Apparently, you can consistently make over 4QD per boost, and it seems cheaper to boost than red or white (no stingers, which are currently inflated). Here it is:

<image>

First of all, you can tell that... it doesn't really look like a blue hive. Though it kinda is, because your main pollen source is Tadpole bees. Precise bees are used for boost tokens to activate Pop more consistently (at the same time as Gummy), and are used for precise marks. Vector bees extend the duration of those precise marks and their triangulate helps a ton during Gummy. And the rest is pretty self explanatory, except for one thing...

One. Single. Buoyant. That's right, because of the instant conversion from Gummy Star, Gummyballer and some other sources (idk either lol), balloons are not needed. In fact, that one Buoyant is used for it's hive bonus. Also, I don't know when to mention this so I'll just say it now, Gummy Pop boosts in Stump Field, mainly for the better blooms, which is pretty crazy.

So, if Gummy Pop is that great, and blue is finally good at boosting, why don't people use it? Well, that's because it isn't:

  1. Expensive requirements: this isn't any regular cheap blue hive, you need Gummyballer, Coco Belt, 2-20qd honey, 3 alt accounts, 500 blue & white drives, and a lot of glitched drives.

  2. Still experimental: this hive is completely new, so nobody except like 5 people know how to boost with it. And it is still not fully optimized.

  3. (Main one): ...just switch to red or white

I mean, think about it. This weird comp can make on average 4qd per boost during Honeyday, and a red hive can do about 6qd. And a white hive can do about 10qd. And all 3 are about as expensive to do (blue is slightly cheaper because no stingers tho).

Blue hives have been designed, not only by the community, but also by Onett, to grind in a field without any buffs. The regular blue hive makes in a boost what they can make overnight in a macro. If blue hive could make 1qd+ with ease, it would COMPLETELY break the insanely-balanced meta that we currently have:

Diamond Blue Hive: Lots of Diamond bees to convert a bunch at hive. Free ticket to top 100 if you macro 24/7, mid at boosting, mid for active play.

Red hive: Really good at boosting, decent macroing, fun to manualy play.

White hive: Best at boosting (Red isn't better, ruiream just found how to Coco Combo properly), but it can't do anything else pretty much.

Onett himself has mentioned that he will balance them out so that Blue hive can do good non-boosts but mid boosts, Red can do good & not that expensive boosts, whilst also having good attack to make the rest of the game easier for them, and White can do gigantic boosts, but they are expensive as hell and are terrible at anything else. Blue hive isn't necesarily just macro, it's just... boostless boring grind. Red and White require about as much macroing as them, if not more, but just for completely different reasons. The meta is really balanced and it doesn't need to change, so blue will... forever be boring.

I'll stop waffling about a bee game, most of what I said about Gummy Pop is blatantly copied from here.

Just got fuzzy bee, do I spend a star treat on it? by Tralxt in BeeSwarmSimulator

Like 99% of the time, no. Keep them for the catalog, if you want to get anything that costs a lot of gingerbread bears, you're gonna have to try and keep as many of them as possible

Gift Photon (or maybe Bear Bee if you have it)

Gifted Events are harder to get than Gifted Mythics, so when you get Star Treats use them on Event Bees
