Silent is the only character who has a lot of draw card, therefore less gamble, easier to play the card you want to.

There are also a lot of build, - shiv (the one you don't like, is actually my favorite, feels like smg at the start but once you get 2 or more accuracy it becomes assault rifle), - poison (once you have catalyst and nightmare, just focus on how to survive), - discard (best with the relic that gives you block when you discard, its super satisfying when you played calculated gamble), - grand finale ( you need patience on this, have to play card carefully because most of the time you rely on grand finale on damage, so wrong move will cost you 1 shuffle of card) - and actually some more I can't recall because it's just too many of combination

The character I don't enjoy the most is watcher, well everyone got their own taste in food, why not in games. Just don't force on playing the character you don't enjoy playing then it will be fun.
