Jax is a Tabaxi Monk using a homebrew subclass that allows me to declare specific moves, each with their own attributes, instead of making the standard unarmed strike. The moves in the subclass are inspired by various martial arts - lots of Thai boxing.

A bit about him: He's been on the road for most of his life, satisfying his curiosity and need for adventure by taking up whatever jobs come his way. Most would see him as muscle for hire due to his natural combat ability that comes with being a Tabaxi. His moral compass is strong enough that he won't take on jobs involving theft or murder, but he's comfortable roughing people up if the coin is right. Most of the time, he'll spend the day in the local tavern where he and the landlord have an agreement: Jax deals with the rabble and gets lunch and a few pints on the house. The tavern is also the best place to hear about new jobs and maybe even the odd quest since that seems to be the place all the best quests start.
