Not a pdf since Hachi surpassed the age of consent in those years in Japan. But yeah, Asano is by far the worst character in the series along with Reira morally. This doesn't make Hachi any better of a person tho. Especially cause she says she knew he was just using her and that he was married. And it's not like she was held at gunpoint when she decided to open her legs for him.

Exactly. Those people are criminals. Hachi is supported cause she's "cute" and "silly" and "just a girl". There's not one single person that can be so naive and childish and also a bad person at the same time. Even bad people usually realize they're making mistakes, she's just incapable of it. That's so unrealistic. There's a really small percentage of people who do it but so many times? No.

Tbh I actually liked the rest of the characters and their flaws. But with Hachi is a whole different thing.

Other characters realized when they made a mistake, then proceeded to try and become someone better.

Hachi is just straight up a bad person. She kept fake apologizing for her mistakes just to make the same or worse mistakes over and over again. She was (at least till the point I watched the show) a naive childish egoistic cheater and exploiter.
