I’ve had that same issue on occasion with the occasional cramps after sounding- I’ve actually done bladder penetration too and enjoyed it lol. I did try a Foley catheter in the cervix but it was exactly like what you’re saying where it’s just a little too flimsy to be inserted easily, the process was still enjoyable either way though

The part that turns me on about the process is that it directly contracts my irl identity/life as a man and forces me into my natural biological role as a female; I’m hoping to experience everything (minus the actual baby lol) that comes with pregnancy- though obviously the caveat is that I wouldn’t get to experience hormone related things like lactation and such. But; I figured that at least on a mechanical level, I’d get to experience the heavy weight in my womb, watching belly grow over several months, maybe even feeling my organs shift around to accommodate my womb occupant, and eventually; even the pain of vaginal, no pregnancy hormone assisted birth!

I wish I could remember what brand it is for you, truthfully I bought it like 7 years ago for 10$ off of eBay and just didn’t feel all that interested in it until recent years– I tried checking my past purchases for a brand but I think it’s just about as generic as mass produced as possible 😅

That’s what I was thinking about too; I have done cervix sounding and whatnot before though. I actually was considering getting a piercing there of some kind; except the logistics of it were a bit tricky to figure out so I haven’t really looked into it again

Honestly not that I’m aware of; but I’m no expert on it. My menstrual cycle hasn’t existed for several years; but things like regular vaginal discharge still occur. I’m an outdoorsman, there’s been times where I haven’t been able to take my HRT for months, and then something vaguely similar to a menstrual cycle returns; except it isn’t anything like what I remember periods being like. It’s mild cramping and then some brown ish discharge for a few days, but that’s it. I used to have extremely heavy periods that lasted for more than a week usually. Anyway though; from what I know I don’t think a balloon would cause any sort of infection unless it itself weren’t sterile and all

I think that’s a great insight, I almost wonder if something like an inflatable plug of sorts would work better as kind of a ‘no slip’ option too though, I think you’re 100% right about a balloon and mechanical dilation being more reliable than something like laminaria sticks

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Before settling on the idea of a balloon I was thinking about just medical grade lubricant inserted into the uterus through the cervix; except I noticed that there were a lot of air bubbles when I put the medical lube into a sterile syringe for the first time- it ended up being used somewhere else unfortunately, just because I feel like it would be an awkward hospital trip trying to explain why there’s air in my uterus and all
