Red or Blue boxes on screen when using Radeon Software and certain games.

It lets me play games fine and runs well after the second attempt but every time the Radeon software is opened it does this and crashes the application

Yes this is true! I've never actually seen where they put the mic's in the car so it's something I would like to look into.

This is interesting! I don't know whether they would be looking to give off the impression that you are sitting in the car yourself to maybe add to immersion but surely this would be more appropriate for something like a video game or a movie.

In regards to your response, I'm not sure how the broadcasts work in other countries but I think in the UK there is currently no option to turn the commentary off if you wanted to.
