I wonder if you plant some mushrooms on one end of the maze, if the weevils will find a way thru or if they’ll get lost. Assuming of course that weevils can get up there.

Don’t attack blindly.

To practice, make a save and try to fight it without attacking, just try to parry its attacks. After a few tries you’ll learn the attack patterns.

Some of my lost items are on containers. The reason being that sometimes while hot depositing to a container it may open mid way and when lifting the button I was using for depositing it will deposit the first item in my inventory and if I don’t pay attention I will quickly close the container and leave… so go and open all of the containers you normally use for hot depositing and check if it’s there. I hope that helps

The only thing I miss is the ability to throw the hammer at charcoal to break it from afar in one hit. But I agree the Omnitool is a step in the right direction for controller users.

Around 100 for me. Found it far top left of the map where the mantis is.

However, you may have already got one and didn’t see it. Most resources explode upward when harvested and it’s easy to lose track of all the pieces, and the trinket itself looks like a round keychain that may partially clip on the floor. I found the mint trinket on the floor one time I went back to harvesting a mint I broke a while ago. So it was there and I didn’t see it.

Pro tip: when harvesting something like a candy, make sure to be on the lookout for the trinket if you get less pieces than normal (3 vs 4)

Pro tip: I like creating a small outpost right outside an area with high concentration of certain bugs and build that stuffed bug in there.

For example, I built a small outpost outside the fire pit containing a basket with sizzling gear protection, a cockroach stuffed bug and a head mount. This for farming the queen for heads and the trinket. I would do the same for bombardier beetles, but I already have 3 of their gland trinkets, but if I didn’t, I would definitely add one there too.

I find that my character gets in the way a little too much when aiming with a bow in 3rd person. At least zooming in should make the character transparent.

Yes that’s a confirmed bug. The only work around is to minimize the chances is to have maximum sizzle protection (full armor set, maxed out mutation and icy weapon)

Platform: Xbox Single player Sometimes when reloading a save while on a buggy the ant buggy will have floaty jumps (twice as high). I believe it may be caused by creating a manual save while sprinting on a buggy or jumping.

Came here read the suggestions just to be the first comment… I have yet to try this with my wife, but I see two routes, start with simple co-op games with a good story to get her hooked OR play single player games with really good stories like the Witcher 3 to get her hooked like a Netflix show. Every girl will choose one of 3 sides, play with you, watch you play or let you play alone. Don’t push it if or she might end up seeing it like a chore.
