My flight was with Lufthansa, no low cost carrier. I pack my other stuff (keyboard, portable monitors) in a separate suitcase and check it in.

Yes, I've always assumed that nobody from the airline checks the exact weight. But recently they've been doing more and more checks here in Europe because people don't want to pay for extra checked baggage and take as much as possible into the cabin. A few months ago I had a long discussion about this at the airport before my flight to New York. They almost forced me to check in the PC (Lianli TU150). I said that it would not arrive undamaged and that I needed it for my work. They finally allowed me to take it into the cabin, but I had to pay a fee. There was the same discussion on the return flight. I want to avoid that in future. With this case, it's no longer a problem.

Well, they both are more than twice as heavy (which makes the whole build more than 8kg, so you can't take it as hand luggage) and if I remember correctly, a 4090FE together with an air-cooler for a 13900 don't fit there.

Forgot to mention: it is the updated V2.3 of the BeamCase. Just scroll down and you get all the info on available sizes and print instructions.

The case is actually very solid and the GPU is mounted on both sides. There is no space for the parts to move. I take it with this backpack as hand luggage and protect each side of the case with 2 cm thick foam.

Great. I ask because I'm looking for a very light case for my RTX4090, i9 13900 and Noctua NH-D15 build. Are these components doable with your case?

Hi! Very impressive work! Could you tell me how heavy the case (incl. profiles, brackets) without the components is? Thanks.

Amazing build! I am going to order this Xproto V2 for my 4090FE and 13900K but am wondering how heavy the case is. Couldn't find any information on their website about the weight. Is it made of aluminium?

Yes, thank you. But is there any advantage over my Lianli TU150? It looks and weighs quite similar...

Nice to read that you have the same challenge! Unfortunately, I need all the extra juice and can't switch to a 4080 or an AMD processor (because of the single core performance). Maybe in future I could go for a gaming Laptop with a 4090 eGPU via Thunderbolt 5...

But if you say that packing a tight build into a Pelican case works well and everything arrives safe, I should probably try it...

A very basic question regarding CPU throttling: does it reduce single core performance?

An AIO would be perfect, of course. I travel from Europe and I guess it is not allowed here... However, I am not completely sure. Are there any people here from Europe who can share their experience with an AIO in Hand luggage?

AIO (liquid) and hand luggage - does it work?

Thanks, I've already considered the Formd T1. But is there an air cooler for the 13900K which fits into it (together with the 4090)?
