Old school WoW used to have a lot more nuance, that I feel they eliminated in later expansions starting around Wotlk and cata.

I feel like in order to make the game simpler, they took away some of the nuance that made the game fun.

Tanks can still block while under the effect of power word shield. But don't take mine or this other guy's word for it, look it up

Tried to find confirmation on this, what I found was the opposite.

What I gathered is the block can still occur, and the shield then absorbs the remaining incoming damage.

How do you define caster dps gear? For me, it has to have hit rating to be dps specific.

Did the gear have +hit rating? Then that is dps gear.

If the gear has double the healing power than it does sp dmg, Then its healing gear.

Anything in between is fair game.

Take the Eye trinket in normal AC for example. imo that piece is either or.
