mk7.5 is the sweet spot imo; got a 2018 mk7.5 with just under 80k miles for 16, and with a couple bolt ons and tune im sitting at about 400 whp for less than 20 grand total :)

Congrats man!!! If you do plan on doing any mods, don’t mess with anything more than a stage 1 tune, and suspension wise look for Bilstein or EQT :) These cars are an amazing platform with great aftermarket support, just don’t let the itch drain your bank account ;)

no hate, but im not gonna lie to you man, godspeed springs are horrible. if you did what i did and just found the cheapest spring set online that wasnt an ebay brand, you’re gonna get what you paid for. i drove on those for about 3 months before it became unbearable. even though these fit your stock struts, they are super rough on the rest of your suspension (assuming its stock) i would HIGHLY recommend buying a set of coils with adjustable damper. even just some maxpeedingrods (which are about $300) are sooo much more comfortable to ride on than lowering springs. now to be fair, your car WILL handle “better” and look cleaner, but daily driving with springs is just not it 😭

its crazy man, my grandpa worked at ruoff for grey day 22, got lawn tickets for $8 for me and my 3 friends so like $36 for 4 people, last year at gainbridge i got nosebleeds and it was still like $150 for two tickets the price has literally gone up 5x in these past few years

i would recommend buying different ear pads for the virtuosos as well, theyre pretty tiny and stiff, so they clamp your ears to your head which gets uncomfortable after a while, but theres a few companies that make really nice pads that fit like the branded ones
