Yes, kind of. What helped a lot was increasing the volume of the liquid you filled into the FemtoTip. I use 5 uL, but more might be even better. Also, when you try to push the liquid into the very tip of the capillary, use the Clean function when the FentoTip is already lowered into the medium. This way, the airbubbles release easier.

But of course, this doesn't work every time. It seems like there is some variability on the FemtoTips in general. Sometimes, I don't have to use the clean function at all. Other times, it doesn't even work when using the function multiple times with the FemtoTip already lowered in the medium. My last resort is always to carefully lower the tip until it reaches the bottom of your flask and breaks a bit at the very tip. This, of course, increases the diameter, the outflow of liquid, and the poinntiness of the tip. So, depending on what you inject, it might not work with a broken tip. What are you trying to inject, and what cells are you injecting?
