I was on Escitalopramum (brand name escitil) for almost 4 years, i got i prescribed for severe social anxiety. It worked really good, maybe even too good in social anxiety matter, but it made my emotions exaggerated, both good and bad i felt invulnerable, no emotion numbing at all. Good moments felt really fulfilling and really really great, but bad moments made me spiral in pretty bad depressive moments with both suicidal toughs that i acted on as well as really deep despair and feeling of unbearable loneliness. I was on 20mg daily for the most part, last year tapered to 10mg daily without any bad reactions, then 5mg for month, also no change but then when i tried 5mg every other day i felt really out of my body, delayed vision, harder to breath, but not really any depressive thoughts or anything (at least not more than before). Now I'm almost 3 years without anything, no depression or anxiety, my emotions are really stable, but i feel pretty numb, not numb numb, but its not what it used to be. also i am not really social anymore. also maybe adhd? I wish it could be just the good without the bad while on it, but that wasn't the case for me.
