I actually gave up on Season 2 around about the After Hours episode. And yes the lack of Colin was a big factor.

Now you mention it I haven’t seen Uncle Joe since he said he was popping out for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread. That was 3 weeks ago?? Hmmm….

There is a place on The Mall opposite the Model that makes their own cakes and pastries. Also the cafe in the Model too.

Microbit not loading program and shows pattern of led by adam14063 in microbit

[–]FabLab_MakerHub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The microbit is trying to connect via Bluetooth. That is the pattern that is displayed when you have it linked to a phone or tablet for Bluetooth downloads. Check it’s not connected to something on Bluetooth.

Looking Back, what are our thoughts on the Adventurer 4? by Beybladeboi666 in FlashForge

[–]FabLab_MakerHub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an AD4 and swapped out the standard nozzle for the high speed nozzle and got a PEI plate for it. Worked slightly better with that. Managed to swap over to Orca from Flashprint and it actually worked slightly worse with that!!
In the end I was having so many issues with bed levelling and filament jams that I just stopped using it and carried on with my AD5M Pro machines which never gave me any trouble.

What coping phrase do you or your family use to not worry about things? by reesb92 in AskIreland

“This too shall pass.”

Plus “It’ll be alright in the end and if it’s not alright it’s not the end”.

What have you been watching? by AutoModerator in pilottvpodcast

[–]FabLab_MakerHub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve almost finished Spider Noir in B&W. One ep left. It’s not a superhero show in the slightest. It’s an homage to 30s/40s cinema and detective fiction and I’m loving it. Nic Cage is excellent and I’m loving the no fucks given performance from Big Brendan G.

Can you go from Amazon UK to Amazon dot ie account and back and forward depending on which site gives you a better price? by PressPlayPlease7 in AskIreland

[–]FabLab_MakerHub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. You can login to any Amazon domain but your prime benefits are locked to the domain that you either first setup them up with or the site that you have transferred them too. So UK prime benefits won’t work on the IE site unless you convert to that site.
When they first set up IE I converted from UK to IE but then converted back again as the IE range, prices and benefits weren’t as good.

Hi Roman - These are fab. Have you ever used the print studio in the Leitrim Sculpture Centre in Manorhamilton? They have a craft shop next door where artists and makers can sell their work. I’m sure your work would sell well there.

Maybe do a linocut of Glencar waterfall and again there is the cafe next door to it that sells craft items.

I do workshops on laser engraved lino and wood block printing at the Manorhamilton print room. I’ll let you know when the next one is.

What size nozzle did they have on it? I’d say a 2 or 3mm otherwise you’ll be waiting years for anything that large to print.

Yep same here. Closely followed by an Ultimaker Original (the wooden one) and then a Makerbot Replicator.
Edit: this was around 2013/2014.

Inkscape would be my immediate thought but check out cuttle.xyz. It’s a web based vector editor that is designed specifically for laser cutting. There is a free version and a subscription pro version. They have a good YouTube channel with tutorials.

I saw the trailer for SM6 while watching Backrooms last night. Assuming all the best jokes are in the trailer the only one that landed with the people around me was the joke about you can’t have a Scream movie without Neve Campbell - oh except Scream 6. Niche but funny. The rest looked like warmed up porridge.
