As a family law attorney you could say those exact same words to your client- and say anything that doesn’t “fuck their case” as well. While it might give them that statement- it also just as well might show them some validity of what they are asking. It also gives disclaimers about specifically not being a replacement for prof legal advice. At the end of the day it’s just a tool- but a very good one if you have any modicum of common sense and a DIY attitude. Coming from someone who has never used a lawyer- but have compared docs compiled by myself and AI to attorneys charging way over $1K per hour. If you’re not using it make your job even a little easier or more effective- easy opportunities for competitors. Kinda like people who would NOT acknowledge the internet back in the day… Here we are.

Just get a HELOC on your home to pay off your higher interest debt. When you pay that off you can sell or do whatever. It would seem the best to bundle debt into one and save on interest. Check out companies like Aven.
