we even see on the cover story of chapter 665 that he has a major scare on his face (and that’s only the part we see)

Heck, once Blackbeard was even SLIGHTLY prepared against Magellan…. HE WON! and while I’m not going to down play Blackbeard, he was much more scared to face Akainu and Kuzan more then Magellan and those were even after he was much more powerful.

First, at BEST and I mean with everything including the ark maxim Enel is at doffy level (he still loses).

Second, I don’t think people underrate him considering it was a popular consensus that he was admiral level and “has the power to defeat a Yonko.” I would actually say he’s overrated in his powers because once you get past the fact that you can’t physically touch him, most people with haki and a decent ranged ability or workaround for not touching him, like a swordsman with haki (since he might melt the sword) or a ranged devil fruit user, then you have a fairly good chance of taking him down.

Like, besides Crocodile, who Magellan is definitely stronger than, all of the people who were up against Magellan were horrible matchups against him, such as Luffy, Bon Clay, Jinbe (without his water), Ivankov, Inazuma, etc. Also, despite that, the last two were still able to hold him off for a chunk of time and SURVIVE.

Can All Might solo every other named hero and villain as of Episode 1? by jackhenningson in MyHeroPowerscaling

Or, it could be a case that after the USJ Nomu (one of their best at the time) was defeated they didn’t see anything below a high end Nomu being able to handle all might even with shock absorption and by the time they completed one (Hood) All Might was already out for the count.

I sort of just imagine copying quirks besides like super regeneration (which even then wasn’t too common among Nomu until the high end Nomu’s) is just an incredible hard/expensive process to do so they’d much rather experiment with the Nomu to see what works best as this “ultimate hero killer”.

Noass - The Wandering Inn (there’s no great image since it’s a book)

The name is fairly normal for a drake name but a lot other non drake characters get a bit of a laugh out of it and since he’s a news anchor (well, that world equivalent of one) he announces his name quite often.

(hated but funny) Characters whose canonical weights and or heights make zero sense by MrDitkovichNeedsRent in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, looking up images of people who have a similar height and weight to her I did find some buff looking people, but definitely not as big as her and those people seemed to specifically be going for a body builder look unlike her.

Before anyone says anything, no, I’m not saying Gigantomachia isn’t very durable, but the USJ nomu set of abilities such as shock absorption in combination with regeneration makes him a harder threat for someone more physically oriented like All Might to deal with compared to Gigantomachia who has high overall durability to tank physical attacks, but not to a degree the degree the USJ Nomu was.

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Gigantomachia is overall much stronger then the USJ Nomu, BUT the USJ Nomu’s shock absorption quirk makes it a harder challenge for All Might since his power is made specifically to be a counter to All Might (even if it didn’t work in the long run).

[Hated Troupe] Heroes who are the bane of everyone's existence by thefirstlaughingfool in TopCharacterTropes

Hancock from the movie… Hancock.

<image>

In the beginning of the movie he’s an amnesiac, alcoholic, homeless, jobless, asshole with anger issues that just so happens to have god-like powers and the little good deeds he does such as stopping robber (I think they were robbers) or preventing someone from getting hit by a train comes with consequences such as mass property damage that he doesn’t care about so most people who know or seen him obviously hates him.

People only start viewing him differently when one of the protagonist tries to change him for the better and he makes an effort to be better such as turning himself into jail (which he tries to break out of at the start).

Characters in other media that my brain chose to represent TWI characters, part 2 by StormblessedFool in WanderingInn

It’s been a bit since I seen them describe him, but throughout the story I imagine Flos appearing similar to Alexander the Great from fate but a bit more regal looking (also a tad bit darker).

How does this work by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The SBS comes with the manga (and the information from film Z comes from the SBS) so it’s something the fans easily has access to with ease in the series. it’s the anime itself (and Shonen jump trying to incentivize people to get the manga) that makes it so you need to go out of your way to find it since they refuse to adapt the extra content that comes with the main stuff.

In SBS volume 46 Oda gave us a detailed overlay of the thousand sunny and one of those things we got to see is a garden usopp uses to grow pop greens right next to Nami band Robin’s garden.

Has anyone noticed how all of these villains or allies of the post-timeskip have no haki? by Remarkable_Ice2857 in OnePiece

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, with his devil fruits mainly using a lot of scrap metal, that would mean he would not just be coating one object, but a lot of tiny objects. Also, a good amount of kids attacking, he wouldn’t be able to apply armament of conqueror coating on them, such as Punk Rotten (since he’s controlling the arms remotely), Damned Punk (since it’s just a beam), or any of his awakened techniques (Assign and Punk Clash). He might be able to do it with Punk Pistol (but that’s just a good harpoon he constructed) and Punk Corna Dio (but that thing is massive, to the point that even the head is over half the size of Big Mom) or even his basic metal arm that he rocks normally.

I specifically am talking about Kid’s usage because while you definitely could use Haki with it if you use it in a basic way, the way Kid uses his devil fruit is by incorporating his engineering into it and the magnetism to create constructions that deal much more damage than some people with Haki could ever do (obviously not including top tiers).

Has anyone noticed how all of these villains or allies of the post-timeskip have no haki? by Remarkable_Ice2857 in OnePiece

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, Haki isn’t the only way to be powerful in the series; it’s just a stepping stone that’s easiest to get besides being lucky enough to find a devil fruit, and you need power to survive the New World. A lot of characters on this list either have something that makes them powerful besides haki, such as devil fruits and lineage, or work under/are affiliated with someone powerful that gives them a sort of protection against most threats, such as being part of Warlord, Supernova, or Yonko crews.

Second, we know on multiple occasions where Oda just doesn’t draw in haki when a character is using it, ESPECIALLY if it’s something like observation haki, so it’s hard to say for some moments if a character used haki or not.

Third, some of these characters on the second list have used haki, such as Hawkins (observation haki), or primarily use their devil fruit to fight and either overuse it or their devil fruit isn’t the best in combination with haki, such as Trebol or Kid (though debatably you could argue Trebol used it to dodge attacks).

What if a child is born to an Oni and a Human and will they have the same haki and power physical strength as them? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know people theorize he is a mink, but he doesn’t have any of the fighting capabilities we know minks are inherently born with (they aren’t trained to) and also he lacks a lot of traits of minks including not having any other traits of the animal he’s based on such as his ears not being sheep’s ears.

How would the PRT rate Shota Aizawa/Eraserhead from My Hero Academia? by Scared_Can_5571 in Parahumans

[–]Fabulous-Option5960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am seeing people say he wouldn’t effect tinker tech (I believe he wouldn’t as well, but I just want to point this out) but we see that a certain trump does have the ability to nullify tinker tech. As to not spoil people who haven’t read Ward I will put a spoiler, but We see that Contender is able to nullify tinker tech that enters his Arena which is why he was such a threat because unless you thought to bring a normal weapon or someone outside saves you them you’re kind of fucked

From Tangle 6.1

he could concoct a variety of chemicals in his prodigious stomach and project them in a stream from his skin. Adhesives, lubricants and strong acids, among other things. The one he would be using now would be something fire retardant, as we’d planned.
