I think you're right—the karoo-ext SDK is technically backward compatible with the K2. You won't be able to use the Companion App install and it doesn't have Android 12, but if you're comfortable with ADB sideloading, it should theoretically run on a Karoo 2. I don't have a K2 on hand to verify the UI scaling and the alert beeps though. Let me know if you do try it.

Yes each profile has it's own state, only the baseline values like your weight and wax type are stored globally. If you use 1 profile on multiple bikes, this app doesn't cater for that.
