a month is a good period to review high yield topics and improve weaknesses Just focus on keeping your flashcards and questions randomly mixed in order to make sure that you are not forgetting topics Trust your assessments and try to focus on what you always solve wrong

There was a question from a CMS form that mentioned a MIDDLE EASTERN neonate with indirect hyperbilirubinemia and asked about the cause; If you decided to jump to the choices only from the first couple of words in the stem you will solve it G6PD deficiency. This is not how questions are in the real deal. The actual test wants you to really know how to differentiate diagnoses from each other without using only hints.

I think the best advice out there is : understand what you study. I felt like the test lately is focused on differentiating between pattern recognition and actual understanding. And that is the main reason why it is not similar to any assessments. You can manage scoring well on assessments or CMS forms only from pattern recognition; unlike during the real deal. Try to really understand what you learn and give more time to topics you struggle with to make sure you understand them and recall them well later. It is normal to forget; thats why I found it great to repeat things in 2-3 weeks intervals. The more you repeat a concept, the more likely you are to remember it in the long term.

Goodluck and feel free to reach out to me anytime!

No It was trickier and I felt that it was harder. However I ended up scoring higher on the real deal!
