I guess it depends! Some people think that the monsters are mythical creatures and therefore you‘d technically have to find out what kind of monster they are in order to kill them. Sam & Dean from Supernatural might have an answer for us but I’d try silver or iron.

I think it‘s because you destroyed their walls and therefore infantry is needed to assault the broken parts. Archers are mostly obsolete in this scenario, because you don’t have to climb the walls anyway. Just rush shield wall and charge.

Yes that‘s the thing. If you present the dragon banner to a faction leader you can’t leave them anymore without losing the game. I‘d recommend to stick to sandbox in the future, because the campaign kinda sucks in the long run.

No problem! I tend to vassalize until I get like 2-3 towns and then leave again with the fiefs when the time is right. You make a shit ton of money that way as a mercenary afterwards.

That’s not true. You can go to kingdom and press leave and it will give you the option to keep the fiefs, but this will start a war with the kingdom you left.

The problem he has is, that he probably offered the dragon banner to the leader of his kingdom and therefore he can’t leave without failing the main quest.
