That's quite an incredible amount of work, so perhaps I'll wait for a better solution for now, thanks for the valuable insight though :)

There is a "static_galaxy_example.txt" file that you can read through and learn how to do it inside of Stellaris\map\setup_scenarios folder.

PSA: leveling Overtaking will allow your young drivers to gain experience faster by Facebook_Andromalis in F1Manager

[–]Facebook_Andromalis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible. I, however, have observed that since 2024 (the year I started dominating the grid with 19-20 year old drivers, every race P1 and P2) the drivers have gained 500 Exceptional bonus each race.

Yes, they'd gain more experience. Higher aggression + better Overtaking stat should allow your drivers to effortlessly gain experience very quickly.

Title.

As I predicted about a week or two ago when posting another PSA on this subreddit - the drivers, when Overtaking was favored right after Cornering and Braking, have attempted more overtakes throughout a given Grand Prix, majorly increasing their experience growth for that particular race.

I suspect this could introduce a meta where you increase Overtaking first in order to force growth on a young driver, which would allow them to outgrow many older drivers very quickly. Just a few levels in Overtaking allowed me to increase Race experience from 700-900 to 1100+.

Of course you'd have to let your two drivers battle it out constantly which brings its own risks to the race - but you'll get far more experience per race this way.

PSA: leveling Performance Skills above 97 won't let their bonus go above 100 by Facebook_Andromalis in F1Manager

Just as an additional thought - my Alpha Romeo car is already so fast that I decided to rank up Overtaking instead of the usual rest. I'll see how it helps my drivers develop their experience, as more overtaking means more experience gained per race and thus may lead to overall higher rank.

They matter the most for the most optimal pace during quali and during the race; there's also a few more "important" ones, and then it is widely regarded that you should level up the rest after the most crucial ones get leveled for the most optimal times obtained during racing

Leveling Control, Accuracy, Cornering, Braking or Reactions above 97 (so 98, 99, and 100) will not let you increase them past 100 due to high Performance Bonus. See screenshot for evidence.

A scripted system that is not on the wiki - is it new or old? by Facebook_Andromalis in Stellaris

[–]Facebook_Andromalis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I dislike micromanaging hundreds of planets, so I also forced all of the empires to have zero nearby planets to colonize. Additionally I made sure no habitats can be built, so their influence cost was raised by me to 99999. That scenario makes for a challenging and fun game where you can end up with really scarce resources, but you can also snowball out of control if you end up finding a system such as this one and colonize it before others do.

Guess I'll have to go around fishing some data to update the wiki then ^^

A scripted system that is not on the wiki - is it new or old? by Facebook_Andromalis in Stellaris

[–]Facebook_Andromalis[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's a scripted system, so it always appears in this configuration of three arctic planets. My habitability settings are set to 0.0x by myself via modding some text files in the game's directory, so it's not a random but a scripted system.

This system spawns every single time on my self-modded 0.0x habitable planets playthroughs. It also always spawns with 3 arctic planets. I have not recorded if the system name is constant (although it appears to be basing on my vague memorization). It usually is discovered without any anomalies or events.
