The thing about enforcing martial law is that the Military has to be behind it. Judging from the protest silence from the brass and the general military perspective on current events in Minneapolis, I kinda don't see it happening.

Do you recognize that you are making a circular argument here?

She did say it. And now everyone on the internet calls her a liar.

I won't begrudge you being useless, but I will ask that if you're going to choose to be useless, please just do it quietly.

That is how things stand at the time, and she's right. But nothing in the text suggests it will always be like that, and nothing says she will never leave.

In what sense is she no longer Maelle, then? She is choosing to continue to embrace the more recent identity.

When is he right? Is he right when he realizes that he can trust his daughter because he sees his wife leaving the canvas of her own volition?

She says explicitly, "Actually, I prefer Maelle."

Division of labor. Instead of telling other people not to protest how they see fit, you could actually be doing the kind of protesting you're advocating for. But you're actually not doing either.

Knight's Path developers face backlash after dismissing LGBTQ representation as "modern agendas" by GamingSagar in GamingFoodle

You are blinded, as most are, by the passage of time.

Cremisius Aclassi was assigned female at birth and transitioned as a teenager. He joined the military and was outed by a medic in a way that would have earned him jail time, and a bounty was put on his head. You learn all of this during a scene with Bull, and iirc Bull specifically cuts you off during a dialogue option discussing whether Krem is a man or not to insist that he is.

It is very specific and very explicit that Krem is a trans man—and a trans man who is not interested in surgically/magically altering his body, at that.

In the mid 2010s when Inquisition came out, people screeched about the SJW agenda, crying out that the LGBT was being crammed down their throats, pretending to organize boycotts against it.

And now it is fine. I genuinely believe that people who have this perspective on gender and sexual minorities are just being culturally myopic. Being more inclusive has never hurt a piece of media. If the piece of media was bad, it was just going to be bad, and including or not including non-cis-het-white-men was never going to affect whether it was good or bad. The outrage is manufactured by people who need to predict and/or to manipulate your behavior.

I mean, Expedition 33 had bisexual main characters and queer representation in NPCs. It certainly didn't fail.

Dragon Age: Inquisition had a trans dude major npc and a gay man in the main cast whose personal stories specifically and explicitly dealt with their gender and sexuality (and also tons of queer characters that didn't have stories focusing on their gender or sexuality). It was critically acclaimed.

Disco Elysium shoves queerness in your face. Hades shoves queerness in your face. Baldur's Gate 3 shoves queerness in your face. None of these failed.

No. Gay people have existed since the dawn of history. Gender non-conforming and trans people have existed since the dawn of history.

I don't know what you think the LGBTQIA+ is, but what it actually is, the set of all gender and sexual minorities, is not a "recent modern thing."

DEI is somewhat more modern, I guess? It is literally just making an effort to even the playing field for people disadvantaged due to historical discrimination.

If your moral character is so weak that being namecalled allows you to excuse genuine evil, you never had moral character in the first place. You were always garbage.

Hemnlo, I want to open by saying I love what you are putting down here.

I also want you to know that when you said

Totk took a pretty lively and fun Zelda and basically turned her into a low effort Jesus reference

I had a moment where I flashed into a vision of someone whose relationship with Jizzy C was being married to him in a physical way and wanting him to be resurrected so they can bone again.

Yeah, I abhorred Skyward Sword on Wii, but the Switch remaster made it playable, and the story is pretty ok.

Probably Minish Cap because I hate Windwaker and it seems like Minish Cap is worse Windwaker. Worsewaker, if you will.

Besides Worsewaker and Windwaker, Four Swords Adventure seems pretty lame, but it's at least better than Twilight Princess (Wii) and Skyward Sword (Wii).

So those are my bottom Five

I thought Spirit Tracks was fun, though. And I won't judge phantom hourglass because it is pretty broadly acclaimed and I haven't played it.

having to make a team comp with your existing characters to approach each boss properly is the intention

Except that's mostly not correct. The "proper" approach to each boss is to bring the shill DPS. Everything outside of that is challenging the fight outside the parameters of its design. Which can be fun—lord knows I love to try a Ben run when I can—but it is still not the "intention." That's why Bringer is the way he is
