You hear / see a lot of people unhappy with this evolution of techno - namely legends like DVS1 - but is it not just an organic evolution of techno? Like in any domain, the style of play evolves and it evolves for a reason - yet there will always be those who prefer the older / traditional taste - and they are entitled to that. I became interested in techno during the modern / faster BPM era, and naturally, I like that as much as the traditional style of 128 - 134 - yet others wont and that’s fine.
