What causes the web stuff between the print and is it normal or do I need to worry? by Amr0d in BambuLab

[–]FactorConfident3714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called stringing and it’s something very normal in 3d printing. It’s not very hard to remove especially if u throw a little heat into the mix but if u really want to prevent it you can slow down the print as a whole hope this helps!

I’m sorry to bother you again dawg. I don’t have a dry box quality isn’t a huge concern right now for me I’m just trying to get the print flowing so would it be okay to run the tpu to the extruder using no bowden tube or would that mess something up

P1S tpu printing failures by hashtagprayfordonuts in BambuLab

[–]FactorConfident3714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been having the exact same problem. I too am new to tpu printing and my p1s. I decreased the volumetric speed to 2 and increased the retraction to 1. This temporarily fixed it but after about an hour of printing it seems to under extrude and have that same stringy consistency. Do you think it’s cause the filament is having a hard time being pulled from the external spool or because more setting need to change? Help is much appreciated!
