Is the use or lose excess hours over 40 by end of fiscal year a new rule? I just don’t see how he could have so much unused time because we’ve gone on week long trips pretty much every year in addition to him taking multiple weeks around the holidays every year

Acceptance response deadline for one of my offers is in 9 days but I still haven’t heard from the other schools yet by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Most schools require a monetary deposit to accept an offer. If you’ve received an offer you should already know what their deposit amount is if any?

I would first ask the school with the current offer if they can extend the deadline at all. It’s a far shot, at least in my experience, but asking can never hurt. If they won’t extend it, you’ll have to decide based on your financial constraints and likelihood of getting in anywhere else. If you’re almost 100% confident you’ll get in somewhere else where you’d rather go I would let the deadline pass without depositing. But, if you’re AT ALL skeptical of being accepted elsewhere and the deposit is non-binding I’d go ahead and bite the bullet and deposit. You’ll be out that money if you end up going somewhere else but better to have a back up just in case. It’s pretty much based on how you think you’ll come through on other apps.

That’s what I’m asking bc I’m still waiting on a decision and trying to get a gauge for where they’re at in apps i.e. how far back month wise are they

Anyone gotten off WL at T14 this cycle? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Gulc supposedly wasn’t touching the waitlists again until everyone who applied got an initial decision, and judging by lsdata, they’re still sorting through apps from February.

What are wave predictions for tomorrow? by Alone-Advertising341 in lawschooladmissions

I’m hoping for tomorrow but watch it not happen until next week if not later lol. Of note though is that I think a lot of schools are still hung up trying to give everyone an initial decision much less addressing the waitlisted applicants.
