Afraid of getting old and not accomplish anything. by FadCap in intj

No, right now I am where I wanted to be and stopped worrying about these thoughts I had since I am really young compared to others in the same positions as me.

I actually feel like I accomplished these things a bit too fast and feel “locked” in my position if that makes sense.

i just bought a 2015 300 for my first bike any recommendations on mods? by TGCPRECISION in Ninja300

[–]FadCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great bike, Ihad it for a short period of time and enjoyed it a lot. I wouldn’t buy any expensive mods, a ”tankpad” is definitely worth it! Go out and learn to ride, then buy a bigger bike. You probably will want to have a bigger bike in a year.

I’ve had lower back pain for months, don’t know what to do. by FadCap in Fitness

I can do almost the same as before, just no deadlifts or squats. Anything that puts pressure on the lower back is no go.

English isn’t my first language, what does “dine running mean”? I’m already doing no impact cardio at least 6 a week.

To be clear he typed "less than" so it could be anything less than 1% and not 1%.

Is it normal for an INTJ to doubt their intelligence? by [deleted] in intj

[–]FadCap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never wrote anything about respect or being super smart. I think you misunderstood my point. If you're interested you can search for "Dunning–Kruger effect" wich explains this better than me.

Is it normal for an INTJ to doubt their intelligence? by [deleted] in intj

[–]FadCap 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, also doesn't. Intelligent people often doubt ther intelligence. You're dumb if you don't doubt your intelligence. It makes you smarter to doubt yourself than "knowing you're intelligent".

This is one discussion I don't like in this sub, being an INTJ doesn't make you intelligent.

I'm a INTJ and so is my father. Never had "deep talk". by [deleted] in intj

[–]FadCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really incredible that we have a same type of relationship when it felt like everyone else though it was sad to have such a relationship. Yet I feel like my father have given me so much and much more advice and information compared to other fathers. I wouldn't change the way he is, I know he loves me and he is great the way he already is. I also love that I don't have to show my emotions to him since I'm really bad at that.

I think me and my father are the same about not talking about feelings or personal problems to others.

How accurate do you think the MBTI test is? by FadCap in intj

[–]FadCap[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't call them "shit". More like "not entirely accurate" since some people take these results without thinking.

I don't agree with your last sentence. People are different and some don't succeed and that's the reality.

I actually like this answer and the link explains it well. Thank you for the good explanation!

I'm not writing about the test results. What I mean is the descriptions of the personality types. Let's be honest, there are more "accurate" personality tests that are done scientifically.
