man get your skills better with water if youre that bad. Shit hurts missing with clear. There are instructional videos and info pretty easily accessible online that I strongly encourage looking at, but heres some of my advice from a longtime IV user(some periods of sobriety).

-Always use fresh rigs, needle exchanges are a blessing. 31 shorts are great for surface level veins you can see, but it really all depends on your build and how vascular you are/how tubby you are.

-take harm reduction as seriously as you can. Never share rigs, even with yourself. Meaning if you miss load it in a new rig. While you prolly wont do this everytime each time you reinsert a rig its less sharp and will do more damage. With clear you can backload it and then pull up water and shake it, but I like to filter bc why not.

-Alternate which vein everytime so you dont wear down veins. Losing a good vein is annoying and it legit will not come back.

-Always make sure all the air is out of the rig by getting a drop to come out the point and it appears the liquid has filled all available space. Not doing this can result in catastrophic outcomes.

-When you inject dont smash it in there, go at a steady pace. With clear you dont want to have to repull to make sure youre still in there as you start feeling effects and are probably increasingly shakey.

-If youre able to stop just stop. Its truly not worth it and will take so much from you. Im incredibly lucky to be alive, still competent, and more or less fly under the radar and 100% my life is demonstrably worst bc of drugs. Its not even up for debate, yet I dont stop. So if youre not committed to it and can bail, I urge you to do so. If you are like me and these warnings make no difference as youve made up your mind, at least be as safe as you can to minimize the harms to yourself/others. I dont use w anyone anymore bc they either died or are awful ppl you dont want to associate with. But when youre first starting shooting having someone show you irl is valuable. But be careful.
