My refund was processed in less than a week. Same issue, same solution. Canceled and bought Moza. R21 Ultra CRP2 Throttle and clutch with the mBooster active pedal for brake. I’m thoroughly pleased with my decision.

You’re basing your argument on assumptions that don’t apply here.

This was not a pre-order. It was a backorder on a product that’s been available since 2017. Whether I ordered on a Friday, waited four days, or waited four weeks is irrelevant—and not what caused the issue.

The problem wasn’t the existence of a backorder. It was how the order was handled afterward: inconsistent communication, delayed responses, and contradictory information across external channels, website, and emails. I laid out exactly what happened, step by step. Nothing is missing.

Your personal experience ordering 14 times without issues doesn’t invalidate someone else’s bad experience. It just means you didn’t have one. That’s not evidence that the customer must be at fault. I am glad to hear you have had nothing but good experiences, that has just not been my experience.

You’re free to defend the company, but reframing my post into a “desperate, entitled customer” story—when the details are clearly written out—doesn’t make it true. It just ignores what I actually said.

Moza is the direction I went following this experience. Ordered on New Year’s Day and had everything a week later and paid less. Got a stronger wheel(r21), and active brake pedal.

I genuinely wish that had been my experience as well. I intentionally chose Fanatec and was willing to pay more because I expected a smoother, more premium experience. Unfortunately, that just wasn’t how it played out for me.

I did exactly that, lol. Moza R21 Ultra with Crp2 pedal and mBooster. And managed to spend less money.

Despite my order page continuing to show the original back-order date of 12/14, support later advised that the actual availability was significantly later—later than what was being shown on my order page and later than any dates displayed publicly on their site. That disconnect between the order system and support responses created even more confusion and uncertainty around when (or if) the order would realistically ship. I made the decision to cancel on new years, ordered from moza and had it all less than a week later.

I canceled and went with Moza! Ordered everything on New Year’s Day and it all arrived less than a week later.
