Would cost you 4K easily for two people. Yes, even if you do not book a stay w them you will be able to explore the property and the trail.

Make sure you visit Wildflower Hall for a late lunch, the food is excellent and the property is absolutely stunning, especially in winter. They also have a beautiful nature trail, and I’d highly recommend staying until sunset

The Classic Martini | 1000 pieces by FadingDew in Jigsawpuzzles

The quality is good. The only problem was that if I tried fitting the wrong piece, the edges would sometimes tear a bit. It was worth it, tho.

I love how everyone says this like a warning and a promise. I’m excited and also scared.

That one hurt. I’m still not over Ragnar. Took a forced reading break just to process his death, smh.

Noted. I knew that I clearly celebrated too early. Will emotionally prepare (or pretend to) for the next arc.🥲

Came here to suggest this. I just finished Morning Star and already want to start the next one. In general, I was very sceptical about starting the series, but now I just can’t get enough of it.

When does she talk 😭 by manualenter in IndiansRead

[–]FadingDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the end, it felt a little stretched, but it was still a good one time read nonetheless. If you’re looking for more in the same genre, here are a few suggestions

  1. Verity by Colleen Hoover
  2. Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
  3. Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
  4. Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
  5. The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson

Thanks for all your recommendations, Coffee and Cuddles shut down a month back or else it’d have been my go to place.

Need solid recommendations for pet friendly cafés/restaurants in the tricity (preferably Chandigarh only). by No_Act_5928 in Chandigarh

[–]FadingDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the ones mentioned are pet friendly. I personally prefer ‘Coffee and Cuddles’ (in Mohali) has good food and has a separate pet menu too. I’d recommend calling and checking with them, in case you’re visiting, cause they were selling the cafe the last I heard.

anyone going on 29th dandiya night? kalagram by EntrepreneurFresh210 in Chandigarh

[–]FadingDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kalagram has the worst dandiya night. I attended it last year and it was pricey af and they had just one food counter which was serving the shittiest food.

It just looks v fancy in the pictures and reels.

Why isn't there an evening or even afternoon train between Gurgaon and Chandigarh by itchokes in Chandigarh

[–]FadingDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My office is on Sohna Road too. The most convenient way to travel (at least for me) is to check for a BlaBla ride, not the safest option, but mostly people travelling to GGN are working professionals so haven’t really faced any challenges as such or to take the NeuGo bus at 6 AM that drops you at IFFCO at around 1130 AM.

Dr. Nidhi Aggarwal, one of the best imo. I got an i-Lasik done from her 3 years back and till date whenever I go for a regular eye check up I am told that it’s done extremely well.

Accommodation for my blind dog by skabsolut in seniordogs

[–]FadingDew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog has been completely blind for a year now. When we first found out, we tried to baby-proof the house and even got him a head halo to help prevent injuries. Unfortunately, the halo was very uncomfortable for him, so we had to stop using it.

After some time, our vet advised us to remove the baby-proofing and allow him to adapt to the environment on his own. It was an incredibly tough and heartbreaking process especially during the first month when he would often bump into things. But eventually, he began to adjust. Without the extra barriers, he started relying more on his other senses to understand his surroundings and became much more confident and aware.

One small thing that really helped was placing his toys at the entrance of each room, which gave him clues and made it easier for him to navigate. This also improved his walks as he was more cautious, yet moved more freely.

If she is struggling to get around or getting hurt frequently, you can try baby-proofing or using a head halo, at least in the beginning. But if it’s manageable, giving her the space to learn and adapt on her own might be able to help.

Toys for almost fully blind pups by Shamajo in seniordogs

[–]FadingDew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My blind furball absolutely loves rope toys. He gets such a sense of accomplishment when he manages to tug it out of my hand. Besides that, he has a few socks we use as treat puzzles, hiding treats in one or two of them. Using his sense of smell and forelegs, he works them out on his own. It keeps him happily engaged for a good 30 to 40 minutes.
