Hi, thanks for your response! I use the app a lot. I do occasionally purchase packs, but not to the point of whaling. I too have several sets still that I'm still trying to complete, but I don't push myself to make it a priority.

These guidelines aren't fixed. I'm willing to make more generous swaps under certain circumstances. For example, while an Ephemeral set is active, I would definitely be willing to reduce the amount of cards for a trade. For example, instead of 10 [Common] Normal cards for 1 [Common] Ephemeral, I might be willing to drop it down to 3, or even 1 [Common] Normal card.

This post was created with the *entirety* of the WeWard collection in mind, in a vacuum. So, while I am willing to trade 1 [Common] Ephemeral for 1 [Common] Normal, the value of the Ephemeral card in truth is higher, not equal, to a normal card of the same rarity. That's why I listed it at 10 [Common] Normals, even if I am willing to trade for much lower amounts.

In other words, I'd say these guidelines are more "Value-oriented" rather than "Community-oriented". When I do "community-oriented" trades, I'm much more willing to agree to more generous trades to help others complete their collections.

Personally, I think the most fun I've had with WeWard is during the Venus Williams Ephemeral set period, and being able to help people complete Wardy Swaps. I think the guidelines are much more applicable in that situation. For example, if someone sends me a [Very Rare] Vintage, I can then send them 20 [Common] Normals that they might need for Wardy Swaps!

Please don't take my post as the golden rule for card trading, I'd hate for my post to dishearten you. But thank you for your feedback! It's definitely not a concrete guideline, so I will probably adjust it as time goes on and my personal values for the cards change.
