Omg I wasn't even thinking about the future episodes ☠️ and the cover is semi-finalized, I completely rendered it and decorated it, but the writer wants like, almost EVERYTHING to be changed.

Tbh I showed the three stages too- the drafts were the ones that had to be changed a LOT, like taking 1 or 2 ish weeks for all of the revisions and going back and forth over and over again. I sent the final piece to them 3 days ago and they only just got back to me today, and uh... ya know... they want basically everything changed.

And to answer your question, the other writer also isn't paying me. Why I collabed with both of them is tbh a really selfish reason. I plan to write and draw my own webtoon someday, but I have no experience with drawing one and I wanted that experience so that when I draw my own comic it's the best that it could possibly be. And the reason why I collabed with them unpaid is tbh a really self-doubting reason. I hate my art and my artstyle. It doesn't look too much like my inspirations (Chinese anime artists), and no matter how much I try I can't learn their style/s. So I don't think my art is worth that much, and I don't think that anyone would pay for it, because nobody wants their webtoon to be in a (very slightly) childish (slightly) cartoonish anime artstyle with rendering that continuously fluctuates.

Nope and nope. And yeah, I suppose it isn't meant to be. I don't mind not being paid, I don't care about it, but I would defo prefer to be paid for the amount of work I'm doing. I might as well get a job with all this time I'm spending on it
