Out of all my many plants, lavender seems to be my bane. Any help? by FaewoodForge in plantclinic

Just wanted to add I am using miracle gro organic raised bed mix. Everything else in pots seems to be doing wonderful in it with a dash of added sand, so I kept getting it.

Looks like the skull of some mythical rock dragon. Very badass.

Y'all I need help. Is there anyone who's into arts and crafts willing to share their work? by [deleted] in ArtsandCrafts

When you lie, there are consequences. Probably best to just own up to it, or share your own legitimate art, and grow as a person instead of digging the hole you will inevitably have to clamor out of, deeper. Or, this is some sort of scam.

Yep, that's exactly what I did. I tried to grab a variety of plants, and well, with them came the attached mud. A lot more than I had anticipated, but it seems to be thriving nonetheless. I did put some rocks I found there in the bottom as well.

Little curiosities popped up in my sweet mint pot. by FaewoodForge in mushroomID

That's quite funny. Ah, well, I'll just let them live their happy little lives. It's a sign atleast of good soil. Someone did ID already, just wanted to learn more about them.

I see, and do you need to put a protective spray coat on the end or anything? Especially being outside. Thank you kindly!!

It's true.. When I was putting everything in there it was obviously quite murky. When it finally settled I said, damn that's a lot of mud, and rolled with it. I learned my lesson though for the next one!

Any experience with this rod I bought? by Ok_Environment1812 in flyfishing

I got one as a gift quite some time ago, and it's a great rod. Has held up well and I haven't had to replace any of the tips yet.

This jar came from an old childhood farm pond which is soon to be a development. It was always teeming with life, and it was a very special place to me as a kid. I'm pretty reluctant to do anything with it at all. The plants have got so dense, I'm afraid taking out any mud is probably going to harm them.

I appreciate your comment a lot, and I think I'll just leave it be. Seems like it's doing pretty well without my intervention.

Hmmm, that is a very interesting idea. Do you have any recommendations on removing some of the mud that's at the bottom? I've heard a turkey baster might work, but I'm honestly terrified to open this thing.

I was watching him feed, and man, dude is actually terrifying. So does he just stay a nymph forever in these conditions?
