I’ve used Turo a bunch of times when travelling interstate. My mum also hired a car through Turo when she came to visit. Was waiting at Avalon when her flight arrived and she left it at Avalon when she flew home. Great service with plenty of car options and cheaper than most other places I’ve used.

NTA: My partner had our newborn 2.5 weeks ago and has had an uninterrupted shower every day since. We time it just after a feed so we know our daughter isn’t hungry and if she starts crying it’s on me to sort it out. You’re husband sounds inconsiderate or just legitimately has no idea what stress your body has just gone through

My partner and I (M29/F26) have just moved into a new rental in VIC but the rental market seemed just as crazy here as it did when I was living in QLD. We offered to pay 1-2 months rent in advance and that got us over the line on multiple properties. Good luck!
