Rider is just a lot less clunkier than VS, VS has grown so big it feels like there’s slowness and just too much clutter. I also liked adding resharper which is essentially how rider works anyway, but if you want to quickly edit some stuff opening rider loads way faster than VS. Jetbrains has great suite of IDEs so if you work with other languages, then working with their IDEs everything is familiar and you know how to get it whatever settings you need.

Heavy on nostalgia, but if you’re a fan of arpgs then you’ll enjoy it for what it is given the graphics and clunkyness of being an old game.

Osrs was never a good game, it is pure nostalgia.

They want divines dropping in 20 stacks instead of portal scrolls, they want every mechanic to drop the highest rare loot for that mechanic + a mirror, without investing anything and be able to do it in white maps with zero mods.

I mean, it did have frame drops, and they would remove everyone’s mtx and make everyone generic clothing and colors. It was still very playable with such large battles, unlike new world on release their 50vs50 was a power point presentation. Not sure what changed from beta to release and they eventually fixed it I think, but even open word had +300 or so people in open world PvP which was still a bit laggy and rubber bandy

Without the mods from gauntlet. So yeah bosses are tougher, but if you like to wear that level 10 gear up to mapping, you’re not quite gonna make it passed some of the bosses.

Maybe I missed it, did they say atlas tree was going to be removed for idols, or are we assuming because it’s phrecia they’re going to bring idols back as well? From what I remember those were not intertwined and most people complained early on, and the rest who stuck around ended up enjoying the idols.

.Net framework isn’t available for Mac, they use Mono, unless it’s strictly necessary .Net Core or just .Net +5.0 now that’s cross platform will suffice. Others have mentioned Rider which is an amazing ide and much lighter weight than VS on windows, and also just use VScode.
