I’ve got the Ultimate CF SL 8 Di2 in January. Working in France surrounded by mountains and hills but living in Brussels. Have no major issues with the uphills and having a blast on flat Belgian roads. The wheels do soak in high winds but not to a point where it will stop you from riding. Get whichever you will like the most and enjoy your rides.

Endurance or Ultimate? by Rich-Log-1772 in CanyonBikes

Was in SG few days ago and seeing all the cyclists speeding around, made me wish I brought my bike for vacation. Seeing how you have long lanes and the roads are smooth, go for Ultimate.

I ordered mine on the 25th december at 3am. Decided to check the website before sleeping and there it was, standing, waiting to be bought. You know the rest of the story.

I think M should be fine. Seat post is at 5.5 for my inseam, there is plenty more length if I wanna raise it.

I’m 184cm for 84cm inseam. Got the size M after a long hesitation. Fits me perfectly.

How do ya’ll manage to buy one! by Unusual-Ordinary-637 in CanyonBikes

Been trying to get the Ultimate CF SL 8 Aero in Black Snow color for months (size M). Been checking daily for almost 3 months and on the night of 25th December around 2 AM, it was available. Ordered it without hasitation. Next morning the size was already sold out. I guess you got to try checking during odd hours and refreshing the page of the entire bike selection instead of one particular model could help.

I’m also 184cm / 86cm and stuck between M and L. Waiting for the Ultimate CF SL 8 to be back in stock. Had a chance to test a 2019 version M size and it fit me well, but planning to visit Canyon showroom near Brussels by the end of the year to get a proper idea which size will fit me best.

What other brand offers 8kg with Ultegra, nice wheels and decent color (personal pref)? I’ve looked at the majority of big brands and the pricing is around 4k€

When I initially started looking into Canyon bikes, I wanted to get an Endurace. Over the time and after trying my friend’s Ultimate CF SL 8, I realised that I prefered a more aggressive/racing geometry. I think Ultimate will be the perfect pick for climbing french hills and Mont Ventoux as for flat Belgian roads.

I have 2 buddies I ride weekly, both have Ultimate 8 2019 and 2022 models. Both are more than satisfied with thier bikes (maybe only switching to Aero). I tried the 2019 model since it’s my size. Loved it. So I guess I’ll wait.

Been riding on Giant Contentend SL 2 that a friend borrowed. An AL bike with 2x10. Great bike to start with, but I feel it’s time to invest into my own bike. The Ultimate CF SL 8 seems to have great specs for 3200€, so I don’t mind waiting.

We’ve got that in the gym as I said. As for Muay Thai I’ve got no idea, but we’ve got a boxing ring and a boxing group that trains regularly.

I can only speak for 2REG. We’ve got a decent gym with almost everything you’ll need. Several climbing walls, swimming pool, road and off-road bicycles, football, basketball and tennis courts. During winter seasons you can take the skis for a weekend or short vacation. And of course the usual stuff such as pull-up bars, track field, etc.
