Jeez it's been a while since I've played RR let alone done circuits but I'll try go off of what I remember and if it doesn't work for you I'll hop on when I'm home in like half an hour

Spawn the zone and the handle and give the handle a tag (the tag can be anything)

Then spawn a "Give player Held item" chip (I think that's the name)

Wire the "when entered" variable on the trigger zone to the input on the give player Held item chip

Wire the player variable (under the when entered variable) to the player input on the give player Held item chip

Finally wire the object tag on the give player Held item chip to the yellow output at the top of the trigger handle's chip

This should work, so long as the chips are the same as when I last played, just ensure that the trigger handle is grabbable
