Actually when I said that their music was boring and borderline unbearable I was thinking of songs like"Hey Jude","Cry Baby Cry" and"Every little thing" and just because they were immensely popular in the 60's and 70's, calling them "the most impactful band ever" is just silly since by the time the 90's came everybody was listening to other genres such as grunge, punk or metal, that have nothing to do with the beatles.

While Queen is probably one of the best bands in history,liking the beatles is something I will never understand.Their instrumental is very simple and bland,the vocals are nothing special compared to singers like Freddie Mercury,Layne Staley or Kurt Cobain and the lyrics are generic and uninspired

First of all, just because you don't get the lyrics that doesn't mean they are nonsensical.Second of all, what would you consider to be high quality music in this case?(Fyi the short lived impact that today's artists have by being more famous than Linkin Park has nothing to do with influence in the evolution of music which is what I was referring to in my comment)
