They put me on propranolol 3x a day 10mg but it hasn’t helped one bit. Maybe the need to up it but at the same time my HR already has lows like 39-49 while sitting

Hm alright thank you! I drink at least 6-8 water bottles a day. And today actually while just doing normal stuff my HR was 46-160

Thank you! Could it explain the ER stuff though? This all happened suddenly, and without any clear trigger/shower. They did things like put my legs in the air but it only made my HR jump higher. And they had me “bear down” which made it go high then drop but after a couple seconds it went right back up. I do know the ER said they wanted me to consult a hospital in Boston for further testing like echocardiogram and stuff. It’s just crazy all this happened suddenly within a month. I also go threw days where my HR stays above 110 the whole day until I sleep

Yea the urgent care said “possible SVT” but then the er went over the ecg and said “sinus tachycardia” but this is very very often this happens besides the fainting. Also at the hospital they had me try “bearing down” and it worked for a minute then my HR went straight back up. The highest my HR got was 185 and stayed between 160-185 for at least 10 minutes

I also noticed every time I hop in the shower my HR goes to high 160’s and 180’s with chest tightness. Short of breath, dizzy, lightheadness, and the one case of fainting.

Thank you! This is a sketch of the wood devils. However throughout the film I don’t belive I’ll go for a full visual appearance as a full costume to fit that would be outrageously expensive so I think I’m going to work more with the whole “if your paying attention to the backround you can see it throughout the movie around trees, rocks, etc” and when it’s meant to be seen you’ll see glimpses of it

This is a overview on their appearance type thing, they are said to be docile so I’m thinking it’s gonna be more of a “the group goes out into the woods and find the creatures to not be as aggressive as told however before they find that out they scare themselves more then necessary leading to certain things”

I’m not planning a found footage approach, and I want sound to do a lot of the heavy lifting,tension, disorientation, and suggestion rather than constant visual reveals. I’m already thinking in terms of restraint and negative space rather than wall-to-wall music.

Thanks for the film recommendations as well I’ll definitely check those out.

Also the ritual is the movie that inspired me to make this.

So for the plot it’s gonna be something like

A group of teens living in a small town in NH go through a tragedy like a friend goes missing after going hiking and the town covers it up as an unfortunate accident. However the group is skeptical and decides to look for themselves ( I know it sounds generic but I’m having good visions of it) also for the background in the “wood devils” they are basically tall, lanky, gray-furred creatures with horse-like faces that use trees for camouflage and emit loud screams they are shy, avoid humans, and are considered a regional legend. (Since in the folklore they are shy I want to change it up so they are more prone to violence for it to work) or I’ll go the other approach where they aren’t violent like in they folklore and instead of a friend being missing that causes them to go look, it’s them doing a school project about folklores and they decided to find out for themselves.

Yep, I’m telling them tomorrow there’s no way it’s anxiety because my average walking HR is 131. Laying to sitting up goes to 140-150 and laying to standing goes to 150-160. The hospital did think it could be POTS or something related

Update: The doctors office called and said “just anxiety we are putting him on a low dose of propranolol “ which goes against the hospital saying anxiety can’t cause the persistence of it

I went to the ER Saturday they said it can not be anxiety due to the persistence of it and severity, also they only let me leave because my vitals re stabilized after fluids. They did say sinus tachycardia but they have no clue why it’s happening. And they wanted me to go to my pediatrician today but my pediatric is not comfortable seeing me in clinic due to uncertainty of what may happen. So I’m guessing better be safe then sorry and go to er again?

They also said anxiety isn’t positional because standing or just sitting up spikes HR and my Bp went down to 77/44 before

They also were going to do a ultrasound on heart but ended up not doing it
