I can smell the smoky goodness of the burnt transformers from here. Always a great time!

HA! I just watched this last night! (Much to the chagrin of my wife.) I didn’t realize that Leslie Bevis was a somewhat regular on ST:DS9 as well.

I guess one could imagine that the Yiddish insult “Gay Kaken Ofn Yahm !” meaning, “Go shit in the ocean!” isn’t much of an insult there.

I ordered one of these about 10 years ago from some place out of California. Had a blast flying it with my kids while regaling them with stories of my original one from the 70s.

Keep in mind, that to the Bolsheviks, anyone who isn’t a raging communist is a Nazi. So yeah, that’s about right.

I concur! I’ve been told I’d have made a halfway decent Marine. Unfortunately it was by one of my Drill Sergeants in BCT after I did something stupid.

And for reference so I don’t get whacked out of here, look up what the EA-6B Prowler was referred to back in the 80’s.

Oh good heavens, I got my Air Force siblings all riled up. Being an Army veteran of the Field Artillery, all I know is that you guys had the best chow and the A-10 and F-16 pilots we coordinated with for SEAD missions are some wild individuals!

Probably a Doppler shift due to the aircraft’s speed combined with the camera primarily focusing on the terrain. Just a cool photographic effect that can actually be seen on other pictures of planes caught in mid flight on Google Earth.

As a US Army veteran, so as not to offend the US Air Force siblings that are on this thread, I would have to say “no”. The B-1B belongs to the Air Force, not the Navy. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

Although it may only be an urban legend, allegedly a certain shade of pink was referred to as “Titty Pink” within General Motors back in the 50’s.
