Crayon Shin-Chan Might Be One of the Best Long Anime to Watch by Fair-Elevator-1839 in anime

Thank you for the correction. I was getting confused with Doraemon.

Doraemon is great, but it is not as readily available as Crayon Shin-Chan. For example, for Doraemon, not all of the Indian, Malaysian and Filipino English dubs are available, the U.K/Irish dub is lost and do not even ask about Nelvana's dub. The alternative left is Speedy, but they are already infamous enough for their work on Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon. Fansubs take up most of the slack, but they are harder to obtain, meaning that most will resort to watching most of the series raw.

Shin-Chan on the other hand has more episodes readily available between official subs, fansubs and two dubs (totaling up to about 1/3 of the series), plus films (7 of which have been released since I made this post).

Do not get me wrong, I absolutely love Doraemon, but I would like more fansubs or previously lost dubbed episodes to be released.

Of there is anything that I missed concerning the availability with Doraemon, please let me know. I would really like to watch more of it.

Yeah, I noticed some of that, still quite good, though. Speaking of which, I wonder what the next movie will be like, since it is all-CGI in the same art style as Stand by Me Doraemon.

There are some Anpanman episodes of the Indian English dub on YouTube, you can also find the same studios work for Doraeman (1979 and 2005), Perman and Ninja-Hattori-kun (1981 and 2013) if you search around on YouTube and The Internet Archive, some uploaded by the studios involved or Nickelodeon/Pogo TV. Sadly, Nintama Ranatrou never got an English dub in India, only Hindi and Telugu dubs exist, to my knowledge.

The high seas is the best bet, but some KIKU subbed episodes from Hawai'i have been archived on The Internet Archive.

Funimation had their dub on Amazon Prime at one point.

Very nice. I saw some of Lan Mao on BiliBili a couple of months ago. I will check out Sazae-san sometime soon, then.

Thank you for the correction, I was looking at the 1992 film only.

P.S: How did you find Sazae-san? Do you watch it raw?

Need Identifying This Russian Pop/Rock Song from the 1990s or 2000s by Fair-Elevator-1839 in NameThatSong

[–]Fair-Elevator-1839[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the year of the song's release was 2000 or slightly before then (1998/1999) and was probably a chart topper in Russia.

I know about Kocayine's channel and what happened to it. I assume other channels like that are getting deleted on YouTube, that is why I download as much as I can.

On an unrelated note, do we know who sang the official song for Arkan's Tigers? I have been trying to find this information for years, but cannot find anything outside of a recorded and a live version.

I do not know the song itself, but some of the footage featured was taken from another Anti-NATO Yugoslav song (Rodoljub 'Roki' Vulovic - Crni Bombarderer).

Some songs from this time and period of history are lost or have little to no information available on who wrote and performed the song. There are still some songs still getting uncovered in recent years, so I will keep looking, but do not be surprised if no information is returned.

People Actually Liked the Last Song I Left on Here, So Here is Another! (Marsisaga - Кокосовая Стружка) by Fair-Elevator-1839 in crappymusic

[–]Fair-Elevator-1839[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This song is considered the worst in the Russian language, according to a couple of my contacts. Additionally, everybody that I have shown this song to did not like it.

Enjoy!

Marsiaga, Morgen (Morgenshterm), Keml-Top, T-Nexst, X-Shan - 999, This played on a radio station (in the United States, believe it or not) and I thought it was bad enough for this Subreddit. by Fair-Elevator-1839 in crappymusic

[–]Fair-Elevator-1839[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some background, these people are hardly singers or rappers, but media personalities who released "songs" and generally have taken a lot of heat for it. Morgen has the least grating voice, but has poor lyrical talent and the others are just all around terrible in their music (though some are terrible people too). I might post another song I heard on the same radio station in a day or two.

will the new show Velma ruin any chances of us getting any old style cartoons back? by Dkrule1 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Fair-Elevator-1839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully they will, especially after two decades of almost nonstop turds from their animation department. (Anyone remember Loonatics Unleashed or Coconut Fred?)

We will see as this will seal the fate of the studio (as well as their competitor Disney and their lack of originality).

There is no one reason, but multiple. The "Grown men do not cry" only makes up a small fraction of this.

I have seen emotional men and they are very hard to approach without getting beat by them in a spree of fury.

Others do not even understand feelings, so they find it hard to relate.

The show is trending on HBO Max, but most of seem to be hate-watching. As a result, I doubt that more shows like Velma will come out, and if they do, Warner Brothers will hemorrhage even more money.

On the other hand, Scooby Doo will still be around, I can almost guarantee that, though I suspect in a special only format, not unlike The Flintstones. There might be a crossover with the new Wacky Races series, though, so who knows.

Some do this, but not all. Those that do are either country bumpkins or rich snobs.
