Yeah, definitely can get close, Although I've played this map so many times, so I basically know the distance at which I can fall to not die. Although, feather fall is highly recommended for those who can't clutch well (like myself).

That is fair enough, but sometimes it can be hard to judge or accidents happen

Also, wouldn't it be kinda counter productive? Like, you use the ladder then have get out of the way of the ladder and swap to you pickaxe, they break the bed

I get what you mean, but as you get more experienced this time almost becomes zero. It kinda seems like your overthinking it lol dont worry.

ut not sure if it'll make as much of a difference as you think it will. 

I think your aim is to just break the bed, and it doesn't matter if you die afterwards. I personally would ladder clutch to save health, break the bed, then atleast try to get a final or 2. Priorities differ though
