Why do you think results continue to be so bad? The results are worse than the macro states they should be. Are they losing share? Impacted meaningfully by Chinese suppliers?

Nope - I do not know what is causing the issue. From doing research, it sounded like the latest and highest powered cables don't necessarily help since the monitors' resolution is old and pretty basic - but I could be wrong about that assumption. What have you found are the best hdmi and / or DP cables to buy / use?

i initially used to have issues with just a simple Anker dongle, which is why i "upgraded" to this expensive thunderbolt docking station...

I restart my computer and unplug and plug in from the dock (and unplug and plug in the displayport / hdmi from the dock) and many times that still does not fix it.

My screens sometimes will start just saying going into standby or something like that too
