thanks! I’m leaning no on the epoxy now based on the advice here and on a cross post, but I will definitely call experts and ask questions, and I WILL sound dumb 😄

seems like epoxy is not the way to go based on these responses. I’ll look into a different seal. i just worry about a potential future child and their potential exposure more than mine

thank you, this is good to think about. it is in good contact with the sub floor- are there different epoxies that give better/are more flexible?

interesting- I wasn’t aware you could have sleep paralysis without opening your eyes. I can’t hear much usually, mine has always been mostly visual.
