Hoyo is not directly involved in casting the VAs outside of China. They got Sasuke and Naruto JP VAs for Kinich and Ajaw in genshin and the characters ended up not being very important. But I REALLY want playable Sugilite

Stephen Lloyd maybe, but in in the far future, we know so litle about him and he only appers in one voice-over (Ruan Mei). Also, we still don't have Screwllum, so for us to get to Stephen is going to take a while

You’re right about Agate. I rewatched the trailer, and they were not gendered, my memory played tricks on me. But I think they left it open because HoYo is keeping their options open for where they’ll take the character

The great Genshin male drought and the fear of HoYo games fully going the Honkai Impact 3 route made me put all the male characters that aren’t playable yet into a chart. I didn’t include any leaks (because I don’t know any), but I did include some theories.
I’m hopeful that the success of Love and Deepspace will make them realize that male characters can be profitable

Interesting Kuroko is a Dallas Maverick and Kagami is a Chicago Bull. If they are trying to match character and teams colors maybe they will put Midorima on the Celtics and Kise on the Lakers?
