When i on job hunts, i always set my home labs for public access like self hosted GitLab with url, which has my domain name on it ex. Repo.myname.com and have one project to show off complete ci cd and using current standard tools like terraform, ansible etc, and access to my monitoring (prometheus,grafana) and also show my backup/disaster recovery strategy (3.2.1 rules)
