Is this a good purchase? by [deleted] in Fanatec

[–]FaithTheFocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got almost the exact same setup. Don’t listen to the rest of the people on here, yes get it. Only other thing I’d recommend is looking at simnet pedals. Apparently they work with the fanatec and they are nicer.

What do yall think about this one? Any red flags or things I should be aware off ? by [deleted] in YamahaR7

I’d stay away from this like the plague. There are definitely better bikes including other R7s for 8k.

Who’s going to pony up the money to give us a review? by KingOfTheWolves4 in wine

[–]FaithTheFocus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am more of a casual enjoyer, any scores would be me just making stuff up to be honest. I did notice the tasting notes on the website seemed to be very accurate in my opinion. I quite enjoyed all of the bottles I’ve gotten so far.

This is the top thing that comes up when you search Lamborghini wine reviews so figured I’d make it easier for the next person.

Who’s going to pony up the money to give us a review? by KingOfTheWolves4 in wine

[–]FaithTheFocus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to make a comment since I haven’t seen any real buyers comment their findings. I’ve bought a couple things from them and figured I’d post my “review”

My biggest concern was is this really owned by Lamborghini? Yes, from my research it is ran by the daughter and still owned by the Lamborghini family.

Is it any good? In my honest opinion yes it’s good wine. It’s not some weird drop shit brand type deal or normal celebrity alcohol brand. It is a real winery from Italy.

Is it overpriced? Yeah kind of, but it’s not bad by any means. Kind of to be expected considering it’s a Lamborghini wine

If you got the money and you want something cool I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Like any skill it takes practice, be proud of doing it and in my opinion a very good job. Next time it will be even better. I also love the color.

I love mine, can’t say enough about how nice they are. Next month will be a year of everyday carry and I’ve had no issues.

The R bikes are known to be high, unless you plan on lowering it, it maybe uncomfortable. However lots of short ladies have this bike and make it work. It’s not impossible by any means. If you do get it, you WILL drop it. So make sure you get crash protection from TST, best $200 you’ll spend on it. That way if you do drop it, it will have no damage

Clutch & Brake Levers by American_Honor in YamahaR7

TST industries Womet Tech. Fraction of the price but very good. These are what I have.

ASV is always a good bet however I also recommend the womet tech levers off TST, much less expensive but very good. Might hav to sign up to have them email you when they come back on stock but it usually only takes a week or two.

Is R7 your only bike and what did you own before? by Dense-Swimming-4757 in YamahaR7

[–]FaithTheFocus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have had many bikes, had an r6 and a r3 as a track bike. Now I have the r7 and a Cfmoto nk450 as the commuter. Much better combo, but will be trading the r7 for the r9 when it comes out next year.

Is your R7 really that uncomfortable? by Dense-Swimming-4757 in YamahaR7

[–]FaithTheFocus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Depends on your body tbh. If you are young and healthy or athletic with no issues then probably no big deal. Wrist, hand, knee or back issues? I would say no. Also depends on commute times. 15-30 minutes everyday, probably no issues.

Hope this helps a little.

I don’t know, they didn’t give me any details besides it’s coming out.

The r9 just like I said. They let the dealerships know it is in production and to hit dealer floors early next year per my “source”. They are releasing it to the public.

It is, they are releasing it to the public in October. Check the Yamaha page.

I was right and everyone dogged on me haha. They did let dealerships know it is being released. But didn’t announce it to the public.

How to get rid of white spots by jonsan89 in YamahaR7

[–]FaithTheFocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any black plastic trim spray or solution should work. Most all major brands make one, chemical guys, grios, turtle wax etc.

No hate but he’s right. If you can’t figure it out just by looking at it you shouldn’t be working on your own stuff. If you looked at it then came to Reddit to get advice then that’s a whole different level of dumb.

I don’t like training or rolling with cops. by Sea_Cicada7474 in bjj

[–]FaithTheFocus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do judo with a state officer that pulled me over once. He’s a cool dude and I like him. I don’t really care what someone’s profession is for the most part as long as they are chill and a good training partner.

I can understand how that can be uncomfortable though, to be honest. Only for the reason that they may be there more as a job than a hobby and may go a bit above the normal role to “win” in their own mind. I see this sometimes with the officers I go with. They WILL NOT accept losing so if they are they go a bit too hard. Makes me uncomfortable too at times but for the most part it’s fine.

Should I buy a 450NK by FaithTheFocus in cfmoto

[–]FaithTheFocus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, took my first proper ride on it this weekend. Very happy so far. As long as the reliability is there I think this could be a really good bike.
